Revitalization. A complete re-do of everything the players want, and potential players need, to enjoy Project Rage. Nothing is perfect, but that wont stop us from trying. And being the BEST damned low rate with a reset npc around is no easy task. Check out the forums for lots of discussion on The Revitalization, and give your two cents.

Small, but nice. It adds clarity to the server. A few things were getting stale (Old lookin’ PvP room, lame dead branch room) so we’ve updated it full circle. Another patch with some new content is coming soon, so look forward to it.

The Sunday WoE (which was never very popular) is being moved to Saturday, at 12:00 server time (this is two hours earlier than the old Sunday WoE).
The server restart will take place Wednesday, 24:00 server time. It will be down for about 5 minutes.
Another collection of small fixes and updates. This time though, we have a bit of content to release: The Dead Branch Arenas.
Using Izlude as a dead branch town has given us, and the players, issues for some time. Kill-Stealing problems as well as space issues. I’ve coded the new dead branch arenas right into our warper, and it’s wonderful. There are 7 rooms in total, and you are automatically assigned one room to your Party ID when you try to enter the arena. All of your party members will be warped into your same room when they use the Warper NPC, and can come back to the same room after dying. To prevent people from taking up the rooms alone while not in a party, a system is setup to un-assign the room from your party if the map has been clear for more than 15 seconds.

So instead of naming all our updates after the date, I have decided to give them names, so it’s easier to follow what’s going on when. The past week or so we’ve been working on ‘Ares’ which is a small collection of improvements and changes. You can find the thread here. Here is what is changing:

New WoE:
New castle drops as well as new times, and castles! You can find all the in-depth changes to WoE here.
Event Changes:
Added a three minute delay before the Skirmish event starts.
Removed use of healing items in Skirmish event.
Removed the use of Warp portal, Teleport, Snatch, Icewall and Bascillia.
Novice Versus Zombie now teleports you into the event on one click. This was to prevent people from entering the event after it started.
TCG Card now weighs zero.
General Game Changes:
Increased party share bonus exp.
Removed the ability to use dead branches or bloody branches in dungeons.
Added all pet eggs to the donation page.
Added headgear synthesis (the diguise npc reagent) item to the donation page.

We are moving the Wednesday WoE onto Friday, with a better time and leaving the Saturday WoE alone. D on’t mess with what isn’t broken right? Also, we happen to be going back to Prontera! This time we fight for the two castles in the back: Skoegul on Saturday, and Gondul on Sunday! I’ve also completely redone the treasure drops to offer items you can’t find anywhere else in-game. You’ll definitely want some of these :]
I’ll be cleaning up the site today, so don’t mind anything off the wall. Color, imagery, and layout are all subject to change, just a heads up.

A ton of features are coming into the server very very soon. I was held up by a family emergency involving the world being burned down, but as that settles, we draw nearer to the release of the patch! A lot of information can be found here.
To summarize, we are implementing Endless Tower, an automated FFA PvP event, a new TCG Reward system, and Battleground rewards worth fighting for! This should spice up gameplay a lot, so be ready!

We were going to open WoE SE, but I have decided against it with the influence of our players. We have also updated our Wednesday WoE to only have two castles, down from four. It was too much of a break-fest and players didn’t really like the idea anyways. New times can be found on our features page.
We have also added a lot of new features, including an ingame guild ranking, emp breaker ranking and an ingame guild recruitment function (all located in the WoE NPC). Please use these new features and tell us how you like them~
And on the horizon, we have some new content coming in that I feel you may enjoy. I wont say exactly what, but it’s epic. Remember Kitoru, our third admin that you probably have never seen? Well, he has been working on a very complex script that I’m sure you will all love. It’s something RO players have wanted for some time, and he is just on the verge of completing it. SO STAY TUNED, UNTIL NEXT TIME!
New ideas, new events, new staff members to provide additional assistance. Project Rage can only go up from here, and we hope you all stick around for the fun. New WoE ideas coming into effect soon, which satisfy smaller guilds and still keep the 1 Castle WoE so many have requested.
